How to blacken the powder metallurgy surface? Workpieces always turn red after quenching. What happened?
Using steam blackening treatment, the parts are heated to about 700 degrees with special blackening equipment, and can be treated with steam.

There are generally two cases of quenching red. One is that the copper of the workpiece oozes out during treatment. If this is the case, the amount of copper should be controlled. Secondly, water or oil is generally used as the medium for workpiece quenching. When water is used, the surface of the workpiece is prone to oxidation and redness. Polishing or adjusting quenching process can be adopted. Of course, if the requirements of the workpiece are strict, it can be quenched with oil.
