Hangzhou 19 Asian Games, also known as "2022 Hangzhou Asian Games", is the third time that China has hosted the highest level international comprehensive sports event in Asia after 190 Beijing Asian Games and 20 10 Guangzhou Asian Games.
Venue construction
There are 56 competition venues in Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Para Games, which are located in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Shaoxing and Jinhua according to the principle of "Hangzhou main venue is shared by the whole province". Among them, there are 0/2 new venues/KLOC-0, 26 rebuilt venues, 9 continued venues and 9 temporary venues.
There are also 3 1 training venues, 1 Asian Games Village and 4 Asian Games Villages (athletes' villages). The construction of venues adheres to the concept of "green, intelligent, thrifty and civilized" to ensure that the requirements of the games are met, promote urban construction, display the image of the city and serve the citizens.
On September 16, 2023, at the opening ceremony of the Asian Games Village in Hangzhou 19 and the welcoming ceremony of the China sports delegation, the Asian Games Village in Hangzhou was officially opened with the sound of gongs and drums, which marked the simultaneous opening of the Asian Games Village, five Asian Games Villages and three athletes' accommodation hotels.

From 65438 on February 20th, 2022, the registration of Hangzhou Asian Games was fully restarted. The registration period is from February 20th, 2022 to May 20th, 2023, Beijing time. From July 20, 2023, the Registration Center of the Organizing Committee for the Hangzhou Asian Games will issue the Hangzhou Asian Games Identity Registration Card.
During the Games-time, registered personnel can enter and leave the corresponding venues and areas of the Hangzhou Asian Games with their activated ID cards to participate in competitions or work, and enjoy the rights commensurate with their status; On July 20th, the first batch of accreditation cards were packaged and mailed from the Registration Center of Hangzhou Asian Games. Starting from May 2023, with the preparatory work for the Hangzhou Asian Games gradually entering the sprint stage, relevant test matches will be launched more intensively.

19 Hangzhou, the host city of the Asian Games, is the capital, sub-provincial city and megacity of Zhejiang Province, the economic, cultural, scientific and educational center of Zhejiang Province approved by the State Council, and one of the central cities in the Yangtze River Delta.
