Nanyang Second People's Hospital is located at No. 66, Jianshe East Road, Nanyang City. It was formerly a clinic opened by the Italians in the Catholic Church of Shengdian Town in 1925. It was the first Western medicine medical institution in the original Nanyang area. It was taken over by the government in 1951 and officially became Nanyang County Hospital with the approval of the government in 1958. In 1994, Nanyang was vacated and established. It was renamed Nanyang Second People's Hospital. After more than 80 years of development and growth, it has now become a large-scale, well-equipped, strong technical force, third-level general hospital integrating medical treatment, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and scientific research. It is a municipal and Wancheng District medical insurance and It is a designated hospital of the New Rural Cooperative Medical Care System, a member of Nanyang City’s 120 Emergency Network, and a teaching hospital of Xinxiang Medical College, Henan University of Science and Technology, and Nanyang Medical College.
