What are the requirements for cochlear implant?
Cochlear implants can help patients of all ages, including congenital deafness and acquired deafness. When the hearing aid cannot work due to severe and deep deafness, cochlear implant can be considered. Patients with deep deafness, especially children, should be implanted with cochlear implants as soon as possible to shorten the time of deafness and seize the golden age of language learning in order to obtain better rehabilitation effect.

Selection criteria of implants for children

1. Severe or deep sensorineural deafness in both ears. 2. Hearing AIDS and other hearing AIDS can't improve hearing.
