Wei was born intelligent and quiet, and liked reading, especially those Taoist books in her father's bookcase, such as Laozi, Zhuangzi, Taiping Jing, Zhouyi Shentongqi and so on. Influenced by the ethos of seeking immortality at that time, Wei was determined to become immortal from an early age. Every day, he can't go out, and he can't go out the second door. He either eats hemp powder and Fuling pills or practices deep breathing. All he could think about was practice and concentration, and the days passed quickly. When relatives and friends came to visit, she didn't want to comment, so she shut herself in the house. What a girl Chun Qing, be immersed in love with children, has no waves in this strange girl's heart. Tired of worldly affairs, she also asked to move out of the house and find a quiet place to live alone. Shu Wei resolutely refused. At the age of 24, Shu Wei, who was already the secretariat of Jizhou, looked at such a big girl. I know that I am practicing Inner Dan every day, but I don't want to get married. I am very worried. As soon as he and his wife were together, they persuaded each other and married her to Liu Wei, a military commander in Henan Province.
Although Wei is married, his mind to cultivate immortality is growing day by day. She does housework in one hand, scrolls scriptures in the other, reads them day and night, and concentrates on practice. In the evening, when Liu Yi fell asleep, she went to another room to chant Buddhist scripture and practice monasticism. According to the later Yan Zhenqing's "inscription on the altar of Lady Wei of Nanyue", during this time, Wei was thoughtful and sincere, and moved the gods, so three real people descended to her quiet room to meditate. One of them, Wang Bao, is a real pure and empty person. He awarded her the Ching Ching, saying, "You are so diligent in learning Taoism that you touched God. We have been ordered by Emperor Fusang to teach you the true way of God. " The real person of Qing Xu also said, "There are thirty-one volumes of these scriptures taught to you. You must practice hard according to the techniques in them before you can become immortal. You can't reveal the contents of these scriptures to outsiders without permission. If it gets out, you will become the meanest ghost in the future, and even your family will suffer. These books are to be passed on to seven people, and you are the fourth person to be taught. After you, it will be passed on to three people. In the future, you will also help those who are destined to become immortals. " Another real person taught Wei a poem "Huang Ting Jing". After getting the scriptures, Wei Huacun stayed up all night, realized the truth and made progress. Because Wei Hua's certificate of deposit lives in his room, his husband knows nothing about the fact that his wife is blessed by the gods.
In the first year of Emperor Taixi of the Jin Dynasty (AD 290), Shu Wei and Liu Wa died one after another. In a year, he lost his father first, and then his husband. However, the calmness, tolerance and wisdom of exploring the world tempered by years of monasticism gave Wei the courage to live. She took care of her life in troubled times and taught her children with her two young sons, Liu Pu and Liu Xian. Hang a pot to save the world and preach to the people. Her school is called Shangqing School because of its main practice of Shangqing Classic, and Wei is the first generation of Shangqing School.
On the eve of the Eight Kings Rebellion, Wei caught a glimpse of the secret, so he took two children south, first moved to Fuzhou, Jiangxi, then moved to Hunan, and finally settled in Hengshan, Nanyue. She set up a sacrificial altar at the foot of Jixian Peak in Hengshan Mountain, Nanyue. She preached in Jiangnan for more than 30 years, and then served as a celestial teacher to offer drinks. In order to make the practice of Shangqing School deeply rooted in people's hearts, Wei revised and sorted out the herbs in Huang Ting Neijing, and then annotated them one by one according to his own monastic experience, which became the final version handed down from generation to generation. In addition, she also wrote three volumes of Exterior Location of Huang Ting based on her own life experience. According to Yan Zhenqing's "Inscription", at this time, Wei's Taoist cultivation was unfathomable. Although he is 80 years old, he looks like a peach blossom and a girl. In the ninth year of Jin Xian Di (334), Wei Hua died in Hengshan Mountain, Nanyue.
According to Taoist records, after Wei's death, the Queen Mother of the West sent a fairy to greet him, named him "Purple Virtual Goddess" and named him Mrs. Nanyue, and Taoist scriptures also called him "Mrs. Wei". People commonly call her "grandma's second fairy", and "grandma's big fairy" is the queen mother of the west. After Wei Chengxian, her maid, Ma Gu, was our favorite Ma Gu, and also the author of Ma Gu Xian Tan Ji, Yan Zhenqing. Later, she became an immortal from the body and became one of the Taoist female immortals.
Huang Ting Jing was compiled and annotated by Wei, which had a far-reaching influence on later generations and became the main classic of Taoist Inner alchemy. Wang Xizhi's Huang Ting Jing for White Goose is a much-told story in the history of calligraphy. According to scholars' research, Wang Langya is a disciple of Tao, that is, a disciple of Wei. Wang Xizhi has an uncle and brother Wang Jianzhi, who also married Wei's granddaughter Liu Meizi. Wei is a generation of calligraphers. Perhaps Wang Xizhi's calligraphy was also influenced by Wei.
Wei is the first historical figure in the history of Taoism in China who is truly honored as a fairy.
