There is not much subcutaneous fat in the calf, especially in the front of the tibia. Subcutaneous fat is mainly distributed in the posterolateral side, and the inner side should be sucked as little as possible to avoid exposure of gastrocnemius muscle. At present, it is suggested that liposuction of calf should be performed simultaneously with gastrocnemius motor nerve block.
