1995, Yuyao was named "the hometown of Myrica rubra in China" by the Central Ministry of Agriculture. In 2004, it was rated as "the origin of Myrica rubra", which is the main producing area of Myrica rubra in China. Walking into Yangmei Garden, Yangmei is covered with branches, red, purple and juicy, which makes people drool. Eating a bayberry also tastes the poetry and painting of the whole Jiangnan area.
