Dueling is the soul and essence of couplets. On the premise of "not hurting the meaning by words", the authors of couplets always try their best to pursue the neatness of the antithesis. Therefore, adopt any method that can achieve this goal. One common pair of legal systems can be divided into loanwords and loanwords. Now let's talk about using more foreign words.

Borrowing pairs, usually referred to as borrowing pairs for short, began in the Six Dynasties.

Be a prince in the sky;

Depression is a dragon. (The antithesis in Shen Yue's Epitaph of Stuart Xie Sheng)

"Jue" was originally the "Jue" of Juelu, but it can communicate with birds, so it and "Dragon" are complementary animals. It can be seen that the method of borrowing pairs can transform words that cannot be relative into worker pairs. Rhyme emphasizes antithesis, which can be transformed into a wide range of works and should be inherited and widely used. For example:

Teenagers used to be chivalrous;

The evening festival is more Confucian. ("Cui Lu Shi" Tang Dui)

The "festival" and "year" pair with the "festival" of honesty as the annual festival.

Out of date, only Chaoyun can know me;

Playing the same old tune alone, I miss you every time it rains. (Qing Yan lets firewood hold her hand)

"Chaoyun" (Su Shi's concubine) is a special term, which refers to the dead concubine, but it is a common term-morning cloud-which is relatively successful with "sunset rain".

The above method of borrowing is the simplest, which is simply borrowing. There are two more complicated ways of borrowing, namely, more tolerant borrowing and compound borrowing, as follows:

It is best to allow borrowing rhyme, that is, to partially delete the compound words that need to be borrowed (it is best to allow borrowing not to be used for words), and then let them participate in duality. For example:

After studying Huang Gong for thousands of years;

Of all the people riding white horses. (The antithesis of Liu Tang Changqing's Seven Laws "Watching the School and Hunting on Huaixi Xianggong")

"Huang Gong" was formed by "Huang Shigong" (a hermit on the reef) who defected to "Stone". "Plastic surgery" is used before borrowing, so it is called more tolerant borrowing. Couplets use this method, such as:

Born with a white blade;

The bones of yellow flowers are fragrant when they are buried. (Begging for national martyrs Wen and Chen)

"Yellow Flower" is a kind of yellow flower with the word "Gang" cut off from Huanghuagang, which is relatively finished with "white blade".

Compound borrowing refers to the simultaneous use of borrowing and structural assimilation, so that the grammatical structures on both sides of the antithetical sentence are commensurate, otherwise the purpose of borrowing and matching cannot be achieved. For example:

A good sentence is not as good as grass under the lamp;

Old people can see flowers in the fog. (Anonymous optical shop couplet)

The first couplet is "a good sentence under the lamp". Now the object inversion makes grass and flowers opposite, which not only matches the structures on both sides, but also makes quasi-grass (verb) borrow grass (noun) from flowers and plants to make it opposite to flowers.

In the above case, the borrowing time only exists in one of the sentences, which is a single borrowing pair. In the following example, borrowing pairs coexist on both sides of the antithetical sentence, which is a double borrowing pair.

The final conclusion is always Masu's name;

Killing relatives and enforcing the law, the old tears shed tears. (Peng Qing Yulin Wan Nilian)

The method of antithesis-antithesis provides a wide range of ways for the antithesis of poetry couplets, which can turn words that cannot be relative into words that can be relative, thus giving writers more freedom. In addition, if you are familiar with the method of borrowing books, it is not difficult to correct every mistake, otherwise you will only copy the gourd. It is common to mistake Yuan's Yan Zhi for Rouge, because "Yan Zhi" means Rouge, with the same sound and meaning. But "Yan" can be borrowed as the swallow's "Yan" and can be opposite to "Peng", and "branch" can be connected with "limb" and can be opposite to "wing". If it's Rouge Kou, it can't be the opposite of Peng Yi.
