Rhododendron layering propagation

Soil:

I like loose, porous, well-drained, humus-rich acidic soil with a pH of 5.0 ~ 6.0. Mountain soil, dried moss slices, dry humus soil and dry fertilizer can be mixed at the ratio of 7: 1: 2: 1, and 50 grams of sesame sauce residue and bone meal are added and mixed to make culture soil.

Fertilization:

If you like fertilizer, you should "fertilize it thinly and diligently". When buds appear, foliar spraying fertilizer with 1000 times of liquid potassium dihydrogen phosphate, and fertilizing every 7 days from April to August.

Moisture: strict requirements for water quality. Alkaline water can be treated with ferrous sulfate, or poured with alum fertilizer, fermented rice soup or noodle soup to increase acidity. Sprinkle water on the ground every day in dry season, and pay attention to keep the air humidity.

Temperature:

The lowest temperature in winter is above 8℃.

Lighting:

Pay attention to shading in summer and avoid direct sunlight.

Plastic decoration:

Cut off the residual flowers in time after the flowers wither to promote growth and form new flower buds. Prune and rejuvenate old plants. Before the new buds germinate in early spring, select 1/5 ~ 1/3 branches for short cutting every time, leaving branches about 30 cm, and rejuvenating the whole plant in 3 ~ 5 years. Usually pay attention to control long branches. After pruning, fertilization and fine management should be strengthened.

Copy:

It can be propagated by sowing, cutting, grafting and layering.
