In this study, the three-dimensional spatial structure of the key protein complex of jasmonic acid hormones, which consists of MYC, JAZ and MED25, was analyzed, the interaction mode of these three regulatory proteins was clearly displayed, and the fine regulatory mechanism of jasmonic acid signaling pathway was revealed at the molecular level, thus revealing the secrets of plant defense function. This is of great significance for improving global grain yield, and it is the first time to reveal a molecular regulation mechanism of protein in inhibiting the transformation between protein and its receptor and mediating gene expression. Studies have shown that in the presence of jasmonic acid hormones, JAZ, as an inhibitory protein, becomes an important part of jasmonic acid receptor complex by changing its conformation, and performs the opposite biological function to itself. Research partners include Shanghai Institute of Pharmacology of China Academy of Sciences, Nanjing Agricultural University, University of Michigan, Scripps Institute and Northwest University.
