According to the definition of the industry, rogue software generally refers to malicious advertising software, spyware, malware and other software between legitimate commercial software and computer viruses. Its characteristic is that it has certain practical value, and it will also bring various interferences to users, such as being unable to uninstall and forcibly popping up advertisements.

Because "360 Security Guard" is aimed at 12 1 commercial software and plug-ins with compulsory promotion purposes, including products developed by famous network companies/institutions such as Baidu, Google, China Internet Information Center (hereinafter referred to as CNNIC), Thousand Oaks and Yahoo China.

With Zhou's call, a vigorous war against "rogue software" swept the whole industry.

On September 4th, the "Anti-Rogue Software Alliance" composed of victims of rogue software from all over the country officially fired at rogue software manufacturers. Since then, anti-virus software companies such as the Ministry of Information Industry, the Ministry of Public Security, deputies to the National People's Congress, the Internet Society, and Jiang Min have participated in one after another, and the anti-rogue software movement has merged into a torrent of participation from all walks of life.
