1. Features: A raised scar formed along the wound after trauma. This kind of scar is mainly manifested as a red bulge higher than the normal skin surface, which is mostly caused by severe skin trauma (such as wounds caused by surgery or trauma, burns caused by deep second or third degree burns).
2. Manifestations: Early manifestations are bright red like keloid, itching and other symptoms, and the texture is hard. After a period of time, the color fades, the scar gradually softens, and the itching and pain symptoms are alleviated.
3. High-risk population: Hypertrophic scar has nothing to do with race, skin color and wound site, but depends on whether there is infection or foreign body stimulation during wound healing.
4. The recurrence rate of hypertrophic scar after surgical resection is low and the treatment effect is good.
