Anesthesia surgery.
Hua Tuo is the first expert in surgical surgery in Chinese history. He is also the first pioneer and founder in the world to invent the anesthetic "Ma Fei San" and to use acupuncture to treat diseases. "Ma Fei San" has created a new research field for the exploration and development of surgical medicine. His invention was more than 1,600 years earlier than the successful invention of ether anesthesia by the American dentist Moulton (1846).
Hua Tuo could already perform surgical operations such as tumor removal and gastrointestinal suturing at that time. His surgical operations have been praised throughout the ages. Chen Jiamo's "Materia Medica Mengquan" of the Ming Dynasty quoted a poem in "Illustrated Praise of Famous Doctors of the Past Dynasties" for a summary: "Wei had Hua Tuo, who established the Sore Department, removed bones to treat diseases, and had many magical effects." It can be seen that later generations respected Hua Tuo as the "originator of surgery" and it was worthy of his name.
