"Wu" has three historical origins.

One; From the surname Ji, taking the country name as the surname, the eldest son of Gu Fu, Taibo, went out of Jiangnan and made his capital in Meili (Wuxi, Jiangsu). Zhang Zhou, the third grandson of Taibo, became a vassal after the King of Wu destroyed the business. In 473 BC, it was destroyed by Gou Jian, the king of Yue. Children and grandchildren take the country name as their surname.

Second; Yu Tong Wu, a descendant of Yu Zhong, the son of an ancient duke, took his surname.

Third; The Wu surname in Qilu area is mostly after the fourth son Wu of Shoumeng.

Wu Cheng'en (? ~ AD 1582)

The word Ruzhong,no. Sheyang Mountain, was born in Huai 'an, Yangshan, Ming Dynasty. Born in the thirteenth year of Hongzhi, Xiaozong. Sensitive and intelligent, well-read, and elegant in poetry. In the twenty-third year of Jiajing, he was awarded Changxing County Cheng, beginning, returning and indulging in poetry and wine. Most of the poems behind him have been lost. Qiu Zhenggang, a citizen, compiled four volumes of Sheyang manuscripts and one volume of sequel. Fu Shan's comedies, with several miscellaneous notes, were once famous for a time, especially The Journey to the West, one of the four wonderful books in Ming Dynasty.

Wu Sangui (16 12 ~ 1678)

The word Changbai, Gaoyou people in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. During the Chongzhen period, Li Zicheng was trapped in Shanhaiguan, the company commander town, and Chen Yuanyuan, the concubine of Sangui, was captured. Sanguinai led the Qing soldiers into the customs, broke their ways, and entered China in the Qing and Sui Dynasties. Sangui was named King of the Day, guarding Yunnan. After the anti-Qing Dynasty, he claimed to be Emperor Zhou and died of illness.
