2.Solidworks itself has its own molding tool function, which can be modified as needed.
3. In order to create our own forming tool features, we stretch a 100x60xt2.0 cuboid in the Feature Module, which is the front view datum.
4. Stretch the bridge features symmetrically on the upper reference plane, and then confirm.
5. Find the function tool of the forming tool in the sheet metal module, and then click.
6. The green surface is the stop surface, the pink surface is the deletion surface (this surface cannot be seen during molding), and the drawing of the molded part.
7. Save the part, and then right-click the part name above Add to Library in the design tree.
8. Find the "Design Library"-Molding Tools-Relief and save it here. Confirm.
9. You can see this modeling tool in the design library on the right. Make sure that the embosses folder is in the FormingTools folder, and then right-click to select it.
10. Use 120x80x2 to create a sheet metal part.
1 1. Drag the newly created forming tool named 123456 onto the sheet metal part, click OK, and then mark the dimension position.
12. Just locate the dimension in the sketch.
