Some of my opinions:

1. Sorting: There seems to be no order in which the original hats appear, so I made a sorting according to my own logic. In addition to the 5 types of ball caps introduced the day before yesterday, today we continue to introduce 5 types of top hat series suitable for men.

2. Craftsmanship: From the perspective of hat craftsmanship, the craftsmanship of top hats and baseball caps are completely different. The hat is made by first using wool felt to make a hat embryo, placing the hat embryo on a metal mold, and then hot-pressing it through a copper mold to shape it. A baseball cap is a hat made by cutting the fabric into several pieces and sewing them.

3. Translation: The name of the hat in English cannot be directly translated into Chinese. For example,

Bowler is literally translated as bowl hat, but actually translated as bowler hat;

Tophat literally translates as top hat, and the actual translation is top hat;

Pork pie literally translates as pork pie hat. I couldn’t find the corresponding Chinese name, so I temporarily named it top hat. Because the hat looks like a pie in some Western food in the picture below.

4. Differences: Among the 5 hats, many hats do not look very different in appearance, so it is not easy to see the difference. This is normal! Even calling the hat by the wrong name doesn't matter. After all, various felt-type hats originated in Europe and the United States. We need to have a certain degree of understanding of the historical and cultural background of Europe and the United States before we can accurately determine which hats were worn by which groups in the past.
