There are 9 stations 19 in the first phase of Ningbo Metro Line 8, including 9 transfer stations with an average distance of 1.27km. Xia Ying South Depot and Zhanghou Parking Lot are set up on the whole line, with a total length of 23. 14 km, both of which are underground. Construction has started at present and is expected to be completed in 2027.

The first phase of Metro Line 8 starts from Jiangbei Avenue Station in Jiangbei District in the northwest, ends at Jiangcun Station and Yinzhou in Xiaying Pian in the southeast, along the coast of Shuqinglinwan, Liyuan Road and Duantang, along the southern business district of Yinzhou, the southern higher education park and Xiaying Pian, and passes through Tang Hong and Xiejiapian in Jiangbei, thus strengthening the connection between Tang Hong in Jiangbei and the core area of Sanjiangkou in southern Yinzhou. The first phase of Metro Line 8 starts from Jiangbei District in the northwest.
