Who's Zhu Danxi?
Zhu Danxi Zhu Zhenheng, an ancient famous doctor, was called Danxiweng in his later years. A native of Yiwu, Wuzhou (now Zhejiang) in Yuan Dynasty, was born in 128 1- 1358 at the age of 77. He is one of the four famous doctors in the medical history of China. Zhu Zhenheng is talented, generous, studious and tireless. When I was 6 years old, I could recite thousands of words every day and read them once to know the general idea of the book. Everyone knows that he is a "child prodigy". When Zhenheng reached the age of 15, his father died of illness, so the status of Zhenheng's family plummeted. The decline of family circumstances made the life of Zhenheng's family difficult. At the age of 26, after many twists and turns, he finally came to Bahua Mountain near Dongyang County and met Xu Qian, a four-generation disciple of Zhu, a master of Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty. He studied under Cheng Zhu's Neo-Confucianism and forged a deep friendship between teachers and students in the future. At the age of 37 and 44, Zhu Zhenheng failed to get on the list after taking the provincial examination twice, so he realized that a man like him who dared to uphold justice and disobeyed the will of the court would not be favored by the rulers, even if his talent was higher, so he made up his mind to be a doctor and relieve the people's suffering. Since then, Zhenheng has embarked on the road of taking medicine as a profession. When Zhen Heng first studied medicine, she mainly taught herself classic medical books, such as Su Wen and Taiping He Huimin Ji. However, he was worried that he lacked the guidance of a master, didn't have a thorough understanding of classic medical books, and often didn't get good results when using ancient prescriptions, so he decided to go out and visit and seek normal university. At the age of 49, he studied with Luo Zhi, a famous Hangzhou doctor. 1377, Luo Zhi died of old age and infirmity. Zhu Zhenheng was very sad, because Luo Zhi had no descendants, and all the affairs were handled by him. After the age of 48, Zhen Heng became a generation of famous doctors because he was familiar with Neijing, studied the theories of Liu Hejian, Zhang and Zhang, and studied under Luo Zhi in normal colleges. He is not only profound in medical skills, but also noble in medical ethics. In A.D. 1358, a generation of famous doctor Zhu Zhenheng sat at a table with a wolf hair in his hand and a smile on his face. At the age of 77. His family opened his wardrobe, and the cabinets and cupboards were full of manuscripts, which were priceless treasures he left to future generations. Zhu Zhenheng left a lot of important medical works and experience in diagnosis and treatment for later generations, among which Gezhi's Legacy, Herbal Supplement, Danxi Heart Method, Medical Invention, Pulse Tactics, Pingzhi Convergence, Grammar Yao Yao, Danxi Medicine Yao Yao and Pulse Diagnosis and Treatment are his representative works. These works provide valuable historical materials for future generations to study Zhu Zhenheng's academic thoughts. Zhu Zhenheng's numerous disciples, such as Dai Yuanli and Lv Wang, had a far-reaching influence on the development of medicine in Ming and Qing Dynasties, which was unmatched by others in the Jinyuan School.
