Is whitening needle cosmetic?
For cosmetic surgery, whitening needle belongs to cosmetic surgery project, and its category should be: cosmetic dermatology project (not classified for the time being) > > invasive treatment project > > > minimally invasive treatment project.

It should be emphasized here that there is no approved whitening needle project in China. Some hospitals even explicitly prohibit the development of whitening needle project (for fear of being reported). The whitening needles in domestic regular hospitals are basically configured by doctors according to the situation.

At present, there are many whitening needles, with different ingredients and different people, and the concentration and solvent of each drug are different. Irregular treatment is prone to adverse reactions and even accidents. Medical beauty projects can only be operated by professional doctors in hospitals with medical beauty diagnosis and treatment qualifications (not every dermatologist can).

Most whitening needles are antioxidant components, mainly glutathione, tranexamic acid and vitamin C.

Glutathione helps to resist free radicals and oxidation of helper cells.

Tranexamic acid is a group of factors that inhibit the enhancement and composition of melanin.

Vitamin c has whitening ingredients for external use, has antioxidant effect and can reduce melanin; Under normal circumstances, the daily intake of 60mg to 100mg is necessary. There is also the highest dosage of tranexamic acid, and the highest concentration approved by the Ministry of Health is 3%. These components can inhibit the peroxide reaction, scavenge free radicals, strengthen enzymolysis, enhance the activity of liver hydroxylase, eliminate skin melanin and block melanin production, thus achieving whitening effect.

But overuse will inevitably bring problems. First, because these drugs are mostly metabolized by liver and kidney organs, long-term use will cause harm to internal organs. Second, too much will cause scurvy, uterine cancer, poisoning, breast cancer and so on. This is not worth the loss.
