Different mixing methods
Masonry mortar should be stirred by mortar mixer, and dry powder mortar is a kind of granular or powdery material which is physically mixed by dried and screened aggregates, inorganic cementitious materials and additives in a certain proportion, transported to the construction site in the form of bags or bulk, and can be directly used after mixing with water.
Different performance
The properties of masonry mortar and dry powder mortar are different. Masonry mortar should be stirred by mortar mixer, and its output is generally 200 L L. Dry mortar solves the problem that the proportion of mortar prepared by traditional technology is difficult to grasp and affects the quality. The measurement is very accurate and the quality is reliable. According to different requirements of building construction, many products and specifications have been developed.
The gel material is different.
Cement and lime are used as cementing materials for masonry mortar, and ordinary portland cement, high alumina cement, special cement, gypsum and anhydrous stone are used as cementing materials for dry mortar.
convenient to use
Dry mortar is easy to use. Add about 15% water and stir for 5-6 minutes. The remaining dry powder is reserved, and the shelf life is 3 months. However, it has not changed significantly after being placed in the test for 6 months.
