What die steel is used for fine blanking die?
The material of fine blanking die is generally Crl2MoV steel.

Powder metallurgy steel or cemented carbide, or several new die steel materials introduced in recent years, such as YG20 cemented carbide, 7Cr4Mo2VSi steel, GT35 steel bonded cemented carbide, CG2 matrix steel, etc., can be used for fine blanking concave-convex dies with large quantities of products, complex shapes and bad stress conditions. Fine blanking die materials can only be used after processing.

Taking Crl2MoV blank as an example, the forging of fine blanking die blank requires carbide uniformity greater than grade 3, so it is necessary to choose bar with better quality as die blank. The forging process is preheating at 880~900℃ and holding time is 65438 0 min/mm; Heat to1080 ~1100℃, and holding time is 1.5 min/mm; Upsetting and drawing for 6 times, final forging at 900℃, and heat preservation at 550℃ after forging.

Classification of process performance of stamping die

1. Die: A die that separates materials along closed or open contours. Such as blanking die, punching die, cutting die, cutting die, trimming die, cutting die, etc.

2. Bending die: a die that bends a blank or other blank along a straight line (bending line) to obtain a workpiece with a certain angle and shape.

3. Drawing die: it is a die that makes blank plates into open hollow parts or further changes the shape and size of hollow parts.

4. Forming die: it is a die that directly replicates and forms a blank or semi-finished workpiece according to the shapes of the punch and the die, and the material itself only produces local plastic deformation. Such as expanding die, necking die, flaring die, wavy forming die, flanging die, shaping die, etc.
