The difference between aero-engine outfield oil seal and infield oil seal
The differences are as follows:

Field oil seal, this kind of skeleton oil seal is widely used, but it is not as good as lip seal ring with exposed skeleton shaft in positioning accuracy, coaxiality and skeleton heat dissipation. There are two kinds of skeleton oil seal structures: whether there is a secondary lip (type B) and whether there is a secondary lip (type FB).

The infield oil seal is to wrap the stamped metal skeleton with rubber to become an inner-wrapped skeleton oil seal. Its manufacturing process is complicated, but it has good rigidity, easy assembly and low requirements for steel plate materials.
