The Sixth Medical Center of PLA General Hospital (formerly Navy General Hospital) is located at No.6 Fucheng Road, Haidian District, Beijing. Founded in 1954, it covers an area of 156 mu with a building area of 289,000 square meters. It is a third-class first-class hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research.
It is a designated hospital for medical insurance in Beijing, a key laboratory for the treatment of naval injuries, and a pharmacological experimental base for the whole army. It is a clinical teaching hospital of the Second Military Medical University, Southern Medical University and other universities, and has successively won the honorary titles of serving the advanced hospital of the whole army and the Bethune Cup for outstanding service of the whole army.
