Rocket Army General Hospital, formerly known as No.262 Hospital of Beijing Military Region, was founded in May 1954. 1September 1999, the Second Artillery General Hospital was established.

20 15 12 3 1, the Second Artillery General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army was officially renamed as the Rocket General Hospital of the China People's Liberation Army.
