Teacher Lu Juan in my eyes

Text/Wang Zhiheng

Teacher Lu Juan and I have a three-way relationship. I attended her lectures, but she didn't know me, but I knew her. She was a famous teacher in the Central Plains, and I was a rural teacher.

I clearly remember the first time I listened to Teacher Lu Juan’s lecture last summer. That day, there was a heavy rain at night, and the classroom became an "isolated island" in the water. The classroom was the conference room of Fengqiu High School, and the school's low terrain turned into a "lake." Many students stood at the waterside outside the school and watched - will the lecture be canceled if the water is so big? Being a curious person, I took off my shoes to test how deep the water was. It turned out that the water was not as deep as I imagined, nor was it as shallow as I imagined, submerging my calves. The students attending the class were discussing lively, and news came out in the training group: the teacher who gave the lecture has arrived. The lecturer waded through the water to the lecture location. We were all shocked. I secretly wondered if this teacher was a man. How could he be so brave? I followed the flow of people and swam along with my friends, groping through the long waterway, and finally arrived at the classroom. I remember that Teacher Lu was wearing a dark red ethnic dress and greeted us with a smile. I was touched by her smile at that moment. One year has passed, and I can’t remember much of what Teacher Lu taught, but the scene of Teacher Lu’s smile and the flowing water in class remain deep in my memory and will never be forgotten.

The second time I met Teacher Lu was at the Shangqiu Famous Teachers Work Alliance Conference. Teacher Lu was talking about reading aloud junior high school texts. Teacher Lu could blurt out most of the junior high school texts and even memorized them all. . I like Teacher Lu’s smile, her relaxed teaching style, and listening to her share her growth story.

This is the third time I have listened to Teacher Lu’s lecture - how to prepare for the Chinese language entrance examination. Teacher Lu’s class is interesting, with interactive sessions and humorous language. Teacher Lu gave us guidance on how to prepare for the exam from different perspectives. For example: From the People's Daily and public opinion guidance, we can understand the changes in education policies. From the perspective of curriculum standards, let us know what the Chinese curriculum standards are? She also let us know the characteristics of excellent domestic papers from the Zhejiang and Shanxi papers. She also asked us to pay attention to the series "Detection and Analysis" edited by the Henan Provincial Teaching and Research Office, and also asked us to sort and organize from different "points" Textbook. Teacher Lu gave us guidance on students’ memory methods from an academic point of view, asking students to memorize new words or ancient poems. They should not memorize them in isolation, but should link them with content they were familiar with before, so as to create long-lasting memories. I especially appreciate that she asked us to use tables, mind maps or fishbone diagrams to classify and sort out Chinese knowledge. She is like a tour guide, unknowingly leading us to the "garden" of Chinese language, allowing us to appreciate the color and beauty of the Chinese language world.

In my heart, Teacher Lu is really great. Not only do I like her class, but I also deeply like her as a person. Today I mustered up the courage to add Teacher Lu’s WeChat account. When I saw her images, I felt they were so artistic. The outer circle is a circle that is not completely closed (symbolizing the pursuit of perfection in life). There are three words in the middle: "One grain of sand" (one sand, one world, sand is a product of nature). There are four pieces above these three words. A curved stone with a round sun on top (this reminds me of sand being born in the sea). There is a stone next to a grain of sand, and there are four words on the stone - "Sand becomes a pearl" ( After hard training, a grain of sand becomes a pearl),

Teacher Lu is a pioneer, walking in the wonderful world of Chinese language. She uses her own experiences and the wonderful things she sees to encourage us to go faster and farther.

Thank you, Teacher Lu Juan! You are my role model and my motivation to move forward. I love you and bless you - because we are all Chinese people.
