No matter what kind of myopia surgery, you can see things the next day after surgery, but the clarity is somewhat different. Among them, the fastest postoperative vision recovery is ICL implantation, and the vision can be restored to a very satisfactory level the next day. Excimer laser in situ keratomileusis and full femtosecond smile also recovered well the next day, and many patients can basically achieve 1.0 or even 1.2 vision. In contrast, the recovery after PRK surgery is a little slow, generally it takes 24~48 hours, and the corneal epithelial layer will get satisfactory vision after recovery.

In addition, the postoperative medication of these surgical methods is completely different. Generally speaking, after laser surgery, all kinds of eye drops should be used for about one month, and some patients have dry eyes, so the medication time may be longer. It is recommended to use hormone eye drops 3~5 days after ICL implantation, and antibiotic eye drops generally do not exceed one week. If you feel dry eyes afterwards, you can use artificial tears for a period of time.

If myopia progresses again, you can have another operation. For example, I had excimer laser surgery before. I can reopen the corneal flap and cut it again with a laser. But the key problem is to find the reason for the progress of myopia. If it is pathological myopia, it is possible that myopia will progress after this operation. In this case, reoperation is not recommended. It may be treated from the perspective of controlling the deepening of myopia, and then consider whether to operate after the equivalence remains stable.
