Pruning of Acer truncatum.
Mainly natural spherical or umbrella-shaped. When the seedling grows to the height of 1.2- 1.5m, it is fixed at the height of 1.0~ 1.2m, and all the redundant buds at the lower part are removed. Before the spring buds germinate in the following year, keep the annual branches for short cutting, and combine with local thinning to cut off the upright branches, cross branches and pest branches. When the new branches are semi-lignified during the growth period, leave 3 cm for coring and cut off the buds on the rootstock at the same time. In the future, if each branch is separated from other branches, there will be overlapping levels, but they will not touch each other.
