Test method for bottom heave of aluminum reduction cell
The pull-out test method of the equipment is as follows:

1. Confirm the number of measuring grooves, and prepare and check measuring tools, such as bottom drum measuring rod, ruler, aluminum rake, broom, crown block, hook, carbon slag bag, record book, etc.

2. Record the reference height of cathode surface and the measured value of previous furnace bottom rise on the furnace bottom rise measuring rod.

3. Generally, one-half of the total length of side A is selected for single-point measurement. Multi-point measurement shall be determined as required.

4. Open the measuring hole, preheat the tools to be preheated, operate the exhaust changeover valve, and remove the tank cover at the measuring place.

5. Measurement: insert the measuring rod into the furnace, and put a level meter at the horizontal end of the measuring rod to make it level.

6. Record the data, take the measuring rod out of the furnace bottom and put it on the ground to keep the level of the material level gauge.
