How to compile a video tutorial of wire rope sleeve
The following is a video tutorial on wire rope sleeve weaving: How to weave wire rope sleeve video tutorial.

The method is as follows: A wire rope with six fiber cores or wire rope cores twisted alternately is inserted by hand to make a wire rope connecting device (commonly known as hook head) with a collar. After five passes, the connector is made, which can be composed of three passes of whole strand and two passes of reduced strand. All joints shall be opposite to the winding direction of wire rope; Except for the first group, the tail ends of all strands inserted in other groups should be opposite to the twisting direction of the original wire rope.

Crossing should be carried out by crossing one upward and one downward. If the wire rope has a fiber core, the core should be completely penetrated with the first interwoven ends of the first group, and then the exposed core should be cut off. If the strand has a fiber core, the core of the strand should remain in the original strand.

If the wire rope has an independent core, the core should be divided into three parts. They are: two stocks, two stocks, and two stocks with cores. Three staggered ends are used to insert these three parts, and they only pass through three complete joints.

If the wire rope has an independent wire rope core, when inserting into the first group, the core should be folded inward and completely inserted into the center of the insertion head five times in the upward direction. All interpenetration shall be fastened firmly until it is consistent with the center line of the interpenetration wire rope. In order to make the inserted parts smooth and round, it is necessary to shape them with appropriate tools to make them enter the appropriate position.

The thimble used should match the diameter of the wire rope, and the thimble clamp should be firm. The arrangement of wire rope and collar should be as shown in the figure, and the initial method is manual insertion.

Burrs are bound to appear where they are inserted. In order to prevent the operator from scratching his hand, after the hook of the plug-in is completed, the plug-in should be filled and sealed with materials such as epoxy resin and special soft plastic cylindrical tools (such as mineral water bottles).

The concrete steps are: fixing the soft plastic cylindrical tool at the insertion place with rope or iron wire, placing the steel wire vertically, sealing the lower mouth of the cylindrical tool to prevent the liquid from flowing out, and then pouring the epoxy resin liquid into the cylindrical tool.

Note: When pouring, the liquid should be lower than the upper plane of the tool. After pouring, it should be placed upright for more than 24 hours to cure the epoxy resin. Braided wire rope is a safe and practical special lifting tool for lifting, moving and carrying heavy objects. It is characterized by high temperature resistance, wear resistance, convenient use and large bearing capacity, and is widely used in machinery, metallurgy, shipping, petroleum, ports and other industries.
