(a) the types of food carving can be divided into the following six types according to the carving type:

1. Whole carving (also called round carving) is to carve a complete three-dimensional image with a large or plastic material.

2. Zero carving assembly is to carve out various parts of an object with various raw materials and then assemble it into a complete object.

3. Relief, also known as relief Longyang pattern carving, is a carving method that carves the surface of raw materials into unevenness and presents various images.

4. Concave carving, also called concave carving, is just the opposite of convex carving. It is a technique to carve the figure painted on the melon skin into grooves with a knife and express the pattern with groove lines on the surface of the object.

5. Hollow carving is a carving method that chisels out various hollow patterns from raw materials.

6. Flat carving means trimming with a knife or pressing a thick three-dimensional shape with a die cutter, and then cutting it into many flat pieces.
