Introduction: Ningxia Medical University, formerly known as Ningxia Medical College, was founded in 1958 and is the only medical college in Ningxia. 1962, the school was merged into Ningxia University, and it was renamed the Medical Department of Ningxia University. From 65438 to 0972, Shanghai Railway Medical College moved to Yinchuan, merged with the Medical Department of Ningxia University, and rebuilt Ningxia Medical College. In 2002, Ningxia Health School and Ningxia Nursing School merged into Ningxia Medical College. In August 2008, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the people's government of the autonomous region, the school was officially renamed as "Ningxia Medical University". Since its establishment, it has trained more than 20,000 medical talents of all levels and types, spread all over cities and villages in Ningxia, and propped up a blue sky for medical and health undertakings in Ningxia.
