What if the nose is crooked?
1. First aid measures after nasal trauma, you should go to the hospital in time. At the same time, cold compress your nose and back with an ice pack, but try to avoid pressing hard. If complicated with nosebleed, you can hold both nasal wings at the same time and lower your head to prevent blood from flowing to the pharynx. 2. Non-displaced bone and nose fractures For simple fractures without displacement, nasal cavity morphology and nasal ventilation are not affected, no special treatment is needed until they heal naturally. 3. Displaced nasal bone fracture The displaced nasal bone fracture should be reset after the local soft tissue swelling subsides. The common reduction methods are as follows: (1) The best time for closed reduction is within 10 ~ 14 days after injury, and it may be difficult for reduction because of callus formation over 2 weeks. (2) Open reduction is unsuccessful, or old nasal bone fracture needs open reduction. (3) Nasal bone reduction under nasal endoscope is suitable for patients with nasal septum deviation after 14 ~ 30 days of trauma who failed to close reduction.

The collapse of the bridge of the nose may affect the appearance and function.

Suggestion: If it does not affect breathing, you can decide whether to operate according to your personal situation. If it affects your respiratory function, I suggest you operate in time.
