Urumqi gourmet
When I came to Urumqi, I felt fruitful.

I am amazed at the variety of elms, like the cool summer breeze, and obsessed with the snow in early September.

I am always attracted by the languages and costumes of all ethnic groups in the street, impressed by the tall poplars, sung by the joy of fruit harvest, shocked by the charming Tianshan Mountains covered with snow and ice, and dazzled by the fallen leaves in autumn. The delicious restaurant on the street opened my eyes to those who love food!

Although I have never been to an authentic food street, I will never lack the fragrance of all kinds of food if I walk through the streets and alleys of Urumqi at will. The streets here are lined with traditional foods of all ethnic groups, such as noodles and lungs, caviar, saute spicy chicken, pepper chicken, spicy sheep's hoof, roasted steamed stuffed bun, rack meat, red willow skewers, mixed noodles, pilaf and so on.

Baked pasta on both sides of the street is also relatively complete. There are freshly baked bread, sweet and dry bakun biscuits, and all kinds of baked naan. ...

Occasionally, I walked into a small street. The shops on both sides are almost full of fruits and dried fruits, and occasionally one or several barbecue ovens appear in the middle of the street. Fat mutton is bubbling with oil, hanging on the iron shelf, golden yellow or golden red, emitting an attractive aroma.

There are many flavors of mixed noodles in Urumqi. But it is said that in Xinjiang, Toksun's mixed noodles have long been famous. I remember on the way from Urumqi to Korla, passing through Toksun area, I saw a big word on the advertising wall on the roadside: the best mixed noodles are in Toksun!

Urumqi baked buns are also quite distinctive. But different stores have slightly different tastes. Some well-known steamed stuffed bun shops need to queue up for a long time every day to taste them.

Every time you taste delicious food, you can always get something. I often make some ingredients and simple dishes and pasta for myself and my family with gratitude. Such as saute spicy chicken, soup rice or hand-grabbed rice. Although unfamiliar, it is also very troublesome to make, but the taste is slightly different from that of authentic famous shops, and sometimes even quite different. But whether it is successful or not, there is concentration and enthusiasm. Think of it as a process of self-cultivation and perfection!
