Membership types of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers

The 2007 FIDIC Member Association Representative Conference approved changes to FIDIC membership types. Merge Supporting Members into Affiliate Members and Correspondents into Associate Members.

FIDIC members are divided into the following categories:

A FIDIC member association with voting rights. As of October 2007, the FIDIC organization has 80 member associations.

2. Members without voting rights.

⑴Honorary members are awarded to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to FIDIC and are elected by the member association representative conference;

⑵Affiliated members refer to countries that do not have FIDIC member associations. Any association, organization, enterprise and enterprise group that supports the goals of FIDIC;

⑶Associated members refer to any individual, organization, enterprise and enterprise whose main business is engineering consulting in countries where there is no FIDIC member association group.
