Auricular deformity includes structural deformity and morphological deformity. Structural malformation refers to the external ear malformation caused by the hypoplasia of ear skin and cartilage in the early embryonic development, commonly known as microtia; Morphological deformity refers to the distortion of auricle caused by abnormal muscle development or external force, without obvious cartilage loss.

Auricular malformations include: Shtal's ear, helix malformation, ear ring contraction, abnormal bulge of concha, cup-shaped ear, lifting ear, protruding ear and hidden ear.

In the face of congenital auricle deformity correction, surgical correction usually needs to wait until the child is 6 years old and the auricle develops to more than 85% of adults. At present, non-surgical correction can be performed in infancy. Now through early non-invasive correction, the baby's ears can return to normal in a few weeks.
