cultivation techniques

Huanghua pear trees usually bloom 10 years after planting, and will grow ahead of schedule if they bloom for three years.

Huanghuali will take 60 years or even hundreds of years to really become wood, but wood that has been planted for more than 30 years is also valuable.

It is inevitable that Huanghua pear trees will blossom, as long as the climate is suitable. If you don't want it to blossom, you can water it more, apply some nitrogen fertilizer, trim it properly, leave strong branches, cut off others, and don't leave too many branches. Because big branches are not easy to bloom, and if there are few branches, big branches are rich in nutrition and more difficult to bloom.

Cutting method

The cutting season should be in March every year, and the survival rate of cutting in other seasons is low and the cost is high. The cutting time should be in the evening; Before cutting, the cuttings were soaked in chlorothalonil solution of 1000 times solution for 5 minutes, and then soaked in rooting solution of 250 10-6 for 6 hours. The rooting rate is irreversible after the cuttings are taken out. After careful management, the rooting rate can reach more than 80%. After other rooting and cutting experiments, a certain concentration was determined. Otherwise, too high concentration will inhibit the rooting of cuttings. If it is difficult to buy rooting agent or there is no rooting agent, the lower end of the cuttings can be soaked in 5% sucrose solution, and the cuttings can be taken out for cutting after 12 hours. This method also has a good rooting effect.

When cutting, firstly, use a wooden stick slightly larger than the cuttings to construct on the sterilized bed or nutrition bag, vertically punch holes on the bed according to the row spacing of 8cm× 8cm, and the depth is 68cm, which is equal to the depth of the cuttings buried in the soil. Then, insert the cuttings with the drug treatment number into the holes. After the cuttings are pulled out of the soil, there should be at least two bud holes in the soil surface. After the cuttings are inserted, compact the holes with fingers or small sticks, and then immediately spray water to set the plants.

Post-harvest management

After cutting Huanghua pear, attention should be paid to shading and watering, and it is best to build a high shade shed for shading.

Before cuttings take root, shading net with shading rate of 85% should be used for shading. When it rains or the temperature is low, it should be covered with film for waterproof or thermal insulation. After cutting, we should pay attention to strengthening management, spraying water regularly, keeping the surface of cuttings moist, and keeping the relative humidity in the shade at about 80%, which is beneficial to rooting of cuttings. Usually use a watering bucket or sprayer to water, and pay attention to controlling the amount of water in management. If there is too much water, cuttings will rot easily, especially when it rains. Too little water, cuttings are easy to lose water and dry up, which is not conducive to rooting. Generally speaking, the time from cutting to rooting is about 25 days. In order to prevent cuttings from being infected with germs, the cuttings were sprayed with chlorothalonil or carbendazim fungicide 1000 times every five days. Before the cuttings take root, we should pay attention to the regular use of drugs to prevent termites from eating the parts inserted in the matrix. After the cuttings take root, the shading net with shading rate of 60% is used for transitional shading. After the cuttings take root and grow into seedlings, attention should be paid to selecting the trunk in time and removing redundant new buds, lateral branches and lateral buds. After the seedlings grow normally, open the shading net and gradually let the seedlings grow under full light.
