What about silicone doll molds?

How to make a silicone doll mold is as follows:

Step 1: Mold preparation.

To make a silicone doll, you must first have a mold. To open the mold, you need a mold type. Many people don’t understand what a mold is. Let me briefly explain it. A mold is exactly the same shape as the product you want to make. Some manufacturers find people to carve it out, while some manufacturers directly use real people to make the mold. Open the mold. Of course the cost will be higher. No matter what kind of mold it is, after preparing the mold, apply a release agent on the surface of the mold to facilitate later demoulding.

The release agent is oily. Medical vaseline is generally used as the release agent, which has better effect and lower cost. If it is an engraved mold, you can also use detergent and water diluted as a release agent. The release agent must be applied evenly.

Step 2: Mold making.

Considering that the human body shape of the silicone doll is relatively large, an external mold is needed to support it. First, add an appropriate amount of silica gel, add hardener, stir evenly, and then vacuum. Because bubbles will be generated in the liquid silica gel during the stirring process, vacuum processing is required. Vacuuming requires a vacuum box, also called a vacuum degassing machine. You can search online and find some for sale.

After degassing, use a brush to evenly apply silicone to the mold. After the entire mold is coated with silicone, wait After a while, apply the second layer when the silicone is semi-dry. After waiting for a while, when the second layer of silicone is semi-dry, spread a layer of gauze or glass soldering cloth on the surface. Then apply the third layer of silicone. Wait for the silicone to completely cure.

The third step: Make the outer mold.

When the silicone mold is completely cured, use glass soldering cloth to spread a thin layer on the outside of the silicone mold, and then use a brush to brush the adjusted resin onto the glass soldering cloth little by little. When the glass fiber cloth meets the resin, it will become soft and exactly match the shape of the silicone mold. Follow this method to process the entire mold shape.

Step 4: Demold.

After the resin outer mold is completely solidified, enter the final demoulding process. First remove the resin mold, and then use a silicone mold to remove it. Just take out the mold. A silicone doll mold is enough. Once done, trim the mold. Apply the release agent evenly on the inside of the silicone mold, then place the mold in a suitable position, vacuum the adjusted skin color silicone, pour it into the mold, wait until it is completely solidified, take out the silicone doll, and then Carry out post-processing.
