Weifang Medical College is a very good medical college in Shandong Province, and its recognition is acceptable.

Weifang Medical University (hereinafter referred to as Weifang Medical University) is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning organized by the Shandong Provincial People's Government, and established by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, the Shandong Provincial Health and Wellness Committee and the Weifang Municipal People's Government.

It is a pilot university of the National Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program, a construction unit of a famous school with application-oriented talents training characteristics in Shandong Province, an establishment school of the Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program in Shandong Province, and the first batch of supporting units for the construction of application-oriented undergraduate universities in Shandong Province. It is an enrollment school for international students majoring in clinical medicine (teaching in English) approved by the Ministry of Education. The school is located in Weifang City, and its motto is "Help the world through music and Taoism".

As of September 222, the school has two campuses, namely, Fuyanshan and Yuhe, covering an area of about 1,8 mu and a building area of over 65, square meters. There are 2 directly affiliated hospitals, 11 non-directly affiliated hospitals and 14 provincial-level postgraduate joint training bases. There are 19 colleges and 34 undergraduate majors, covering 7 major disciplines.

There is a public health crisis management doctoral program, 11 first-level disciplines authorized by master's degree, 8 authorized master's degree programs and 59 master's programs in two disciplines. There are 5 national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 4 national characteristic specialties, 1 national virtual simulation experiment teaching center, 3 provincial high-level application-oriented key project construction specialties (groups), 2 provincial first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 9 provincial characteristic and brand specialties, 6 national key clinical specialties and 8 provincial key disciplines in Shandong Province, with more than 1,5 faculty members.
