Guangdong Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time college-level college approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is a key vocational college construction unit in the national model vocational college construction plan, a national modern apprenticeship pilot unit, and a pilot university for the training project of skilled talents in the construction industry. The school was founded in 1985, formerly known as Guangdong Science and Technology Cadre College. In 2003, it was transformed into an ordinary university. In 2004, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Construction as a pilot institution for training skilled talents in the construction industry. 20 10 was identified as the key construction unit of "National Model Vocational College Construction Plan" by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. 20 15 was selected as the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units in China.
