How to shape bonsai trees
The modeling of bonsai trees should first follow the natural method. In nature, the growth of trees has one of the greatest benefits, that is, trees always strive to grow upward and strive for more room for growth. Growth also needs photosynthesis, so trees in nature should be stable to ensure that all parts of the tree can receive sunlight to the maximum extent, so most trees will form a stable triangular structure with an upper cone and a lower pier. This form is also in line with people's aesthetic habits. So this configuration has been completely used for bonsai modeling. This is a requirement for beginners. When they are comfortable with the triangular structure, they will not be bound by it.

For beginners, when making bonsai, you should first draw a rough figure, then tie up each branch and put it in a suitable position to form a stable triangle.

Please note the following points:

(1) On the basis of putting the branches well (that is, putting the whole triangle well), don't keep the branches straight and Zhang Chi.

(2) Pay attention to the distribution of branches, that is, the branches extend in all directions to make the bonsai look plump and stable.

(3) Pay attention to the collection and release of main branches, so as to echo each other. For example, bonsai trees can be moved to the left and placed on the right (that is, floating branches), or moved to the right and placed on the left, which can give people a vivid and beautiful feeling.

(4) Pay attention to untwisting the branchlets that are too dense at the ends of big branches. If the position of the twigs is not satisfactory, they should be tied up and put in the proper position.

(5) There is no need to pursue the hierarchy of branches. Some bonsai trees create an extremely beautiful artistic conception. As long as the overall shape is in place, the branches have no obvious sense of hierarchy.
