Muscles attach to the upper and lower limbs, start to become ligaments at the wrist and tarsal bones, and stick to the bones of the palm or sole through pipes, so that the palm and sole can move flexibly.
When the disease occurs, the problem often lies in these channels, especially the wrist, resulting in the so-called carpal tunnel syndrome. If it happens on the foot board, the principle is similar to that of the wrist. Both carpal tunnel and tarsal tunnel contain ligaments and nerves. When these nerves enter the palm of your hand, they will have symptoms because they are compressed. Such as palms and fingers, especially the middle finger, may have pain, numbness and muscle weakness. In the tarsal bone of the foot, it will cause pain in the sole of the foot.
Second, the common symptoms of plantar pain.
(1) When walking, I feel lightning pain at the bottom of the forefoot;
(2) The pain will be relieved or disappeared immediately when you are inactive or unable to walk;
(3) Pressing the forefoot on both sides of the foot can cause pain.
Third, the causes of plantar pain
(1) Bone spur. Heel pain is an orthopedic disease. Because of the imbalance of muscles and ligaments attached to the plantar surface of bones, the periosteum is pulled. Modern medicine calls it "calcaneal periostitis", also known as "calcaneal spur".
(2) nerves. Nerves enter control, causing symptoms due to oppression. The narrowing of the pipeline causes nerve compression symptoms, which are often related to trauma, osteoarthritis, endocrine disorders and so on. Especially in the case of joint inactivity, such as sleeping or inactivity for a period of time, the phenomenon of oppression increases.
(3) inflammation. Most heel pain is caused by ligament inflammation.
(4) shoes. Shoes are one of the important causes of heel pain. The bones, muscles and ligaments of the foot bear all the weight of a person, which requires shoes to fully support the arch of the foot, so that the soles of the feet are evenly stressed and the ligaments are properly relaxed. However, in order to reduce the cost, some manufacturers cut corners on the internal structure of shoes, resulting in the internal structure of shoes can not effectively support the arch, and the strength is concentrated in a certain part of the sole, which will increase the pressure on ligaments and make them more prone to inflammation.
Often wearing pointed shoes, feet and metatarsal bones are squeezed or stimulated by external forces, resulting in interstitial neuritis or neuroma, which is the most common cause of forefoot sole pain;
(5) weight. Body fat, sudden weight gain and heel pain have a certain relationship. Generally speaking, fat people are more likely to suffer from heel pain.
Or after a long journey or a long illness;
(6) damage. The weakness of the foot interosseous muscle and metatarsal transverse ligament will cause chronic injury due to long-term overstretching, and also cause plantar pain;
(7) deformity. The foot bone is deformed, and the metatarsal bone deviates inward, which can not effectively bear the weight, and then it is replaced by the second and third metatarsal bones, which damages the transverse metatarsal ligament and can also cause pain in the sole of the forefoot.
