Peking university health science center is the first western medicine college founded by China government, and it is also one of the first institutions of higher learning built by the national "2 1 1 Project". It has a history of one hundred years and integrates teaching, scientific research and medical treatment. Its subjects cover basic medicine, clinical medicine, stomatology, pharmacy, public health and preventive medicine, nursing, medical technology and combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine, and teaching runs through the whole process of undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education.
