The production technique of Gougunao can be rated as intangible cultural heritage because the production of Gougunao tea is exquisite and of noble quality. The high quality of Gougunao tea is certainly inseparable from the unique local natural conditions, but it also depends to a large extent on the strict picking requirements and unique production process of the tea. The fresh leaves of this tea are very delicate and are usually picked in early April. The standard for high-grade Gougunao tea is one bud and one leaf. It is required to collect leaves without dew, no leaves on rainy days, and no leaves at noon on sunny days. After the fresh leaves are harvested, they need to be sorted to remove purple bud leaves, single leaves and fish leaves; the production process is very exquisite and unique, and the entire process is done manually. The main processes include: greening, fixing, initial kneading, second greening, repeated kneading, shaping and lifting, frying and drying, etc. Gougunao tea has good shape, color, aroma and taste. It looks tight and beautiful, with even and slender ropes. Its color is dark green, and the surface is covered with a layer of soft white velvet. After brewing with a small amount of boiling water, The thin strips at the roots gradually straighten, the tips of the leaves point upward, and the leaves slowly stretch; the soup is clear and slightly golden; take a sip, it is cool and mellow, the sweetness penetrates into the lungs, and the sweet taste in the mouth lasts for a long time.
