What is xanthoma of eyelid?
xanthoma palpebrae, full name of xanthoma palpebrae or xanthoma palpebrae, is a benign eyelid lesion, mostly bilateral. It often grows on the inner corner of the upper eyelid, and its appearance is flat or slightly raised yellow patches or nodules. It may be caused by abnormal fat metabolism, or it may not be accompanied by abnormal blood lipid. Pathological examination showed that there were a large number of lipid-containing foam cells in dermis, and there was no malignant tendency.
