The New Fourth Army is a war drama jointly produced by the Propaganda Department of Anhui Provincial Party Committee, the Film and Television Department of CCTV and Anhui TV Station. The film is directed by Haiqiang Ning, starring Wu Jingan, Feng Guoqing, Liu Zhibing and Zhangyan. It premiered on CCTV on July 30th, 2003. Based on the experience of Huang, a middle-level military cadre of the New Fourth Army, the play describes all major historical events in the history of the New Fourth Army.
