Wei Zhongqing's Achievements
He has been engaged in clinical, teaching and scientific research of urology for 20 years, and studied under the famous urology expert Professor Zhou Zhiyao. His clinical practice is good at thinking and summarizing, which makes the surgical technique improve rapidly. He assumed the responsibility of senior doctor earlier and independently completed a large number of radical resection and plastic surgery of urinary tumors with great difficulty in urology. First, he underwent prostatectomy with urethra preserved behind the pubic bone.

Radical prostatectomy and various advanced endovascular surgical techniques (TURP, TURBT, URSL, PCNL, laparoscopy and ESWL) have been developed in China. Introduce the latest foreign technology, and take the lead in the clinical application of artificial urethral sphincter surgery, various female stress urinary incontinence operations (especially tension-free middle urethral suspension), memory metal stent implantation in urethra, external sphincterotomy, bladder enlargement and sacral nerve electrical stimulator.

Since 1989, urodynamic technology, as a branch of urology, started earlier in China. Through unremitting efforts, more than 4,000 cases have been accumulated, and in recent years, many projects have won provincial, municipal and departmental scientific and technological achievement awards. This technology is at the leading level in China and the province, and the innovative "urethral resistance" and "benzylamine oxazoline test" fill the gap in China, and put forward the names of "sphincter spasm syndrome" and "fibrotic prostatic hyperplasia". A series of national-level works published have been widely valued by relevant experts and domestic urology circles. Now I am guiding graduate students and personally responsible for a number of national, Ministry of Health and provincial and municipal science and technology projects. He has published 32 articles and participated in the writing of Endocrinology Surgery (as deputy editor), Geriatric Care, Modern Adrenal Surgery (as deputy editor), Surgical Ward-round Manual, Prescription Series for Outpatients and Emergency Departments (as deputy editor), Urology Diagnosis and Treatment Decision, and Urology in Jiangsu. In addition to the heavy medical, teaching and scientific research work, I am also keen on medical science popularization. As a member and secretary-general of the provincial medical science popularization society, I have carried out a lot of science popularization work and published more than 100 articles. Invited by Professor Van Kerrebroeck, an internationally renowned neurourologist at the Medical College of Masstricht University in the Netherlands, he studied in this country. The most advanced interstitial technique (sacral nerve regulation) and various urinary incontinence surgical techniques in the world were comprehensively tracked. Since 200 1, Interstim technology has been pioneered in China to treat various refractory diseases: urge urinary incontinence, frequent micturition and urgency syndrome, and urinary retention. At present, sacral nerve regulation has been carried out for more than ten patients from all over the country, and good results have been achieved.
