How does ps fill the material

1, Photoshop opens a picture as a filler.

2. After opening the picture, click Edit in the toolbar.

3. Then select the defined pattern in the edit.

4. Pop up the window, enter the name of the pattern, and then click OK.

5. After defining the pattern, reopen a picture and select the fill box.

6. After checking the box, click the right mouse button and select the fill option.

7. A filling window pops up, where you can select a mode in the content, select the mode just defined in the custom mode, and then click OK.
