1. Silicone rhinoplasty:
Silicone is the most commonly used material for rhinoplasty. Compared with other nasal prostheses, it can carve the shape you want more accurately. After rhinoplasty, there is no foreign body rejection and deformation, and it will not be absorbed by itself, which is very safe. Moreover, if the shape is not satisfactory after rhinoplasty or if you want to take it out for other reasons, you can simply take it out. The disadvantage of using silica gel is that it sometimes feels a little hard, or the implanted silica gel is too big or the skin is very thin, which will reflect the implanted silica gel.
2.Goer-tex rhinoplasty:
Expander has been used in thoracic surgery for a long time and is considered as the material of artificial blood vessel. It is very well combined with tissue, so there is almost no foreign body rejection. And because the swelling is very soft, it will deform according to the shape of its own bones. So it is very useful for people with thin skin. Because its own tissue will grow into a spongy lump. So once it is shaped, there will be no tendency to shake and skew. However, the disadvantage of rhinoplasty is that it is difficult to carve it carefully, and the thickness of rhinoplasty will change after a period of time, so the final effect after rhinoplasty is difficult to determine. Also, compared with other prostheses, the price is higher, the probability of infection is higher, and once taken out, it is more difficult to operate.
3. Allogenic rhinoplasty:
Usually called artificial skin, it is mostly used for nasal tip plastic surgery. Generally used for patients with thin skin layer, it can supplement the thin skin and prevent the skin at the tip of nose from reddening.
4. Autologous cartilage rhinoplasty and rhinoplasty:
As one of the most natural materials with no side effects, it has been widely used in nasal plastic surgery in recent years. Ear cartilage is the easiest to obtain, similar to nasal cartilage. Often used to improve the height of the tip of the nose, cartilage rhinoplasty surgery will leave almost no scars. Nasal septal cartilage is a very useful material for supporting nasal column and lengthening nose length, but cartilage rhinoplasty itself is more difficult. In addition, costal cartilage can be used, but it is not easy to obtain and process costal cartilage, and there are scars on the chest, so it is the last material to be used without a suitable prosthesis.
5. Dermal fat transplantation for rhinoplasty:
Dermal fat transplantation is a method of transplanting dermis and fat together after taking out tissue from buttocks or crotch and removing epidermis. If the nasal skin is too thin due to serious tissue damage and infection, it can be used. After six months of dermal rhinoplasty, the transplanted dermis will be absorbed by about 40% to 50%, so it is difficult to make a very thin nose shape when transplanting.
6. Filler rhinoplasty (rhinoplasty by injection):
One of the minimally invasive operations only uses prostheses such as hyaluronic acid or botulinum, so minimally invasive surgery can restore normal life in a short time. But after a period of time, it will be absorbed by itself, so it will not achieve a permanent effect.
