Does the Japanese maglev train have a cockpit?
Japanese maglev train has no cockpit. The Central Shinkansen is a high-speed railway line under construction in Japan, connecting Tokyo, Nagoya (about 2027) and Osaka (about 2045). The Central Shinkansen will connect three major metropolitan areas in Japan, namely Tokyo Metropolitan Area, Osaka Metropolitan Area and Nagoya Metropolitan Area. Magnetic levitation technology will be adopted, and the designed operating speed is 505 km/h, and the general trend is the same as that of the Central Line and Kansai Line. The first phase of the Central Shinkansen connects Tokyo and Nagoya, and then it will extend to Osaka, with a speed of 500 kilometers per hour, twice that of the current Japanese Shinkansen. After opening to traffic, the journey from Tokyo to Osaka will be shortened from about 2 hours and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
