The normal blanking gap of 3.0mm aluminum material should be about 12% of the material thickness. The clearance value of fine blanking should be smaller than the normal blanking clearance, and the bilateral clearance value can be about 3~5% of the material thickness. How much should it be, mainly depends on the width of the bright band. When full bright band is needed, the bilateral gap value can be smaller.
